Mary Ann Santos has called District 117 home for more than two decades. Raised in Henry County as the daughter of immigrant parents and shaped by the experience of small business ownership, she learned early the values of perseverance, responsibility, and service to community.
A graduate of Henry County High School, Mary Ann returned to school while working full time, earning her bachelor’s degree from Mercer University and her master’s degree from Clayton State University as a first-generation college graduate.
Elected in 2024, she made history as the first Latina elected from Henry County to the Georgia General Assembly. With nearly twenty years of public service experience, Rep. Santos brings consistency, care, and a strong sense of responsibility to her work on behalf of District 117.
Outside of public service, she enjoys time with her children, creating art, and staying connected to her faith and community.
