Rep. Santos has proudly called District 117 home for 23 years. Raised by hardworking immigrant parents who own a small business in the community, she values perseverance and dedication.
A graduate of Henry County High School, she went on to earn a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice Leadership from Mercer University and a master’s in Public Administration from Clayton State University, all while balancing full-time work and night classes as a single mother.
As the first Latina elected to the Georgia General Assembly from Henry County, GA, Rep. Santos hopes to inspire others to pursue their dreams, no matter the obstacles. With 19 years of public service experience and a personal story as a survivor of domestic violence, she leads with both compassion and strength.
Outside of her professional life, Rep. Santos finds joy in being a mother to two amazing children, two fierce cats, and a sweet dog, as well as expressing her creativity through art and attending Tabernacle of Praise Church International.
